A trip to E-Care

Today started like every Sunday does, going to church, coming home and eating lunch. My parents are staying here with us this weekend, too. My mom had gone through my Hungry Girl's 200 under 200 book this past week, too. So, she found some really good recipes she wanted to copy. My dad had brought their printer here so she could copy them. Well, he went upstairs to put the printer from the floor onto the computer desk. He bent down and instead of clearing the shelf in our gameroom he went head first into it. He did not hit the flat part, but the corner! It was not a pretty sight. When he realized he was bleeding he worried about getting blood on my carpet. My mom thought fast and came down to get a bag of ice for it. I was worried about his head and if it needed stitches. I called E-care to check on the particulars for them. My parents decided to go ahead and get it checked out in case it needed stitches. He was very lucky that it did not need stitches, but just had it closed with steri-strips. He said he did not really have a headache either. We will have to wait and see how that goes tomorrow when the "brain freeze", from that ice bag on the head forever, wears off overnight. The doctor said he should call his physician and see about a tetanus shot but it may be okay if it did not have soil or anything on it. I said he should go ahead and get one because who knows how long it has been since I dusted (those of you that know me know I HATE TO DUST!!!) . He did say he might need a Sonic Chiller tonight, though. I felt so bad about him getting a really bad one today that I had to take him to get his Sonic Chiller. He loves sucking on the lime in the chillers. The above picture is of him sucking on the lime (notice the pucker) and the bandage on the left side. Dad will have a rather big scar I believe. However, it definitely is not his first. It is the first one since I have been alive that he actually went to get it checked out. Thanks Dad for appeasing Mom and I and going to E-Care. You definitely deserved that Sonic Chiller tonight! I love you~
